Protagonist

       Tyrell is a very interesting character in my independent reading book. Tyrell's family is struggling financially and physically. Tyrell lives with his mom and little brother troy in Bennett homeless shelter in the Bronx. Tyrells father is in prison again for illegally selling liquor at a party. tyrell mom is no type of role model for troy so tyrell has to make sure he can provide a life for his brother. Over this time tyrell finds a companion, Jasmine. the first time tyrell saw jasmine he was instantly attracted to her, but tyrell has a girlfriend Novisha. jasmine is a influence on tyrell, like shes helps him promote parties like his father use to do so he can get his family out of a shelter and into a apartment. she lets him know when his mother leaves troy alone in the shelter everything. but there is a huge distraction in tyrells life, Novisha. She constantly making him mad and always getting in the way of his business. But tyrell loves her with all his heart.
        Novisha constantly brushes tyrell away when he picks her up from school and she is hiding something from him and he cant get it off his mind. Its like Novisha like to keep him stressed out and he dosen't realize it. He has too much on his hands to be thrown off by nonsense and unnecessary things. Novisha Dosen't understand what he is going threw because she isn ot in his situation, but jasmine is.
