The Help
I just started reading the book The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I'm only on the first page and i haven't seen the movie and I'm going to infer that the book is about maids in the south taking over their lives and participating in a book about being nannies of white children. I definitely know that these black maids are taking a huge risk and exposing the truth about the parents of the children.

I just started the Help too, I'm on page thirty-seven, and I agree that the book will be about the maids taking that huge risk to expose the hardships they go through and how wrong the whole system is in their Southern town. I think it's pretty unrealistic that something like that would happen at that time, especially since I've heard that the book they write gets published, but I think that it's a great and creative idea for a book. So far I've really enjoyed the book.
